WFCWC Scholarships
WFCWC has awarded one or more scholarships to senior girls from Chantilly High School every year since 1995. WFCWC funds the scholarships by its annual sales of White House Christmas ornaments and other fundraising activities.This year's scholarship is the Lois C. Howe Memorial Scholarship, named in honor of a long-term member of the club who was the guiding force in our decision to begin awarding these scholarships. It is a $3000 scholarship that can be used at any Virginia college or university.
Applicants must have maintained a minimum 3.2 GPA in high school and provide proof of acceptance by a Virginia college or university. Applicants must also submit an application that describes their future goals, as well as their extracurricular activities at school and in the community, and write a 150-word essay telling how volunteerism makes a difference in the community.
